Privacy Policy

This is what we collect, why, and who touches it. Short version: we collect what a store needs to sell you a course and deliver it, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, and purchase details. Your card number goes directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store it.
- When you use the email popup or the build application: the name, email, and answers you type in.
- When you start checkout: the name and email you enter are saved even if you don't complete the purchase, so we can follow up — usually a short series of emails about the order you started. Every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe.
- When you opt in to texts: your mobile number, along with a record of when you consented, which form you consented on, the exact wording you agreed to, and the IP address the consent came from. We only store a number that came with that consent.
- Automatically: standard web logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and advertising cookies/pixels, including Meta's pixel, which help us measure whether our ads work. When you buy, our server also confirms the purchase to Meta for ad measurement. Your email, first name, and phone number go in hashed (scrambled) form rather than plain text, along with an order reference and the IP address and browser type your purchase came from. You can block cookies in your browser and opt out of ad personalization in your Meta settings.
- Product analytics: we use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, buttons clicked, and session replays of that activity. Typed input is masked in replays, and your card details never appear in them because payment fields are handled entirely by Stripe. Blocking cookies or using a content blocker also blocks this.
You can't upload files anywhere on this site, so we hold no user uploads.
What we do with it
Deliver what you bought, send you the emails you signed up for, follow up if you started a purchase and didn't finish it, answer your replies, measure our ads, and improve the product. That's it. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who processes it for us
Third parties that touch data on our behalf, each under their own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database and file delivery), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Zoom and Calendly (your implementation call and its booking), PostHog (product analytics and session replay), Sent (text-message delivery), Anthropic (the AI that answers text-message questions), and Meta (advertising measurement). We share the minimum each needs to do its job.
AI
We may use AI tools to help draft replies to support emails and to produce course materials. If you text our support number, an AI assistant answers routine product questions; those conversations are logged, a human reviews them, and anything the assistant can't answer confidently is handed to a person. We do not feed your payment details into AI systems, and no AI chatbot operates on the website itself.
Transactional emails (receipts, delivery) are part of your purchase. Any marketing email we send includes our physical mailing address and a way to opt out that works with one click, or by replying with the word STOP, as US law requires.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and check the consent box, we may text you the freebie you asked for, reminders about a checkout you started, and answers to questions you text us — up to 4 messages a month unless you're in an active conversation with us. Consent is never a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out (one confirmation message follows, then silence), or HELP for help. Opting out of texts doesn't affect your purchase or your email preferences. Your mobile number and text-messaging opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes; they are shared only with our text-delivery provider, and only to send you the messages described here.
How long we keep it
Purchase records as long as tax and accounting law requires. Lead emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Call recordings as long as they're part of the course library.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you and we'll do it, subject to records the law makes us keep. California and EU residents have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone because it's easier and fairer.
California visitors
If you're visiting from California, our advertising pixel (Meta) and our analytics (PostHog, including session recordings) stay switched off until you tell us it's okay. A short notice appears at the bottom of the page the first time you visit. Accept and they run; reject and the site works exactly the same without them. Nothing about your visit is sent to Meta or PostHog before you answer.
Under California law, letting Meta see which of its ads led to a purchase counts as "sharing" personal information. You can turn that off at any time with the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of every page, which reopens the same choices. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal for California visitors as a "reject" without showing the notice. When a California visitor does accept, we tell Meta to process their data under its Limited Data Use setting.
We keep a record of each of these choices (the decision, the state, the time, and the page, never your name, email, or IP address) so we can show that your choice was honored.
Age
This site sells business education to adults. You must be 18 or older to buy. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it, and material changes affecting existing customers get an email.
